Community Education Basic Beliefs

1. Education is a process that deals with a much broader area than just K-12.
2. Education is a life time process.
3. Education is our most valuable resource.
4. There are many groups and individuals involved in the education process and every community has an abundance of untapped educational resources.
5. We should seek to maximize facilities and resources.
6. Citizens who are involved in the decision making process tend to make better decisions about their community.
7. Improvement of the small community is the best approach to improving the larger communities.
8. Service should be delivered and be accessible to people where they live.
9. Education should be based on the needs of those whom they are planned
